Has anybody ever considered whether or not Ibuprofen's blockage of Prostaglandins may delay the healing of damaged soft tissue as it decreases pain? I only ask this because it seems that as soon as I stopped my daily usage of Advil, my shoulder began to feel better at an exponential rate. I never felt bad while taking the Advil but I never really felt as if I was making much improvement. Is it possible that the blockage of Prostaglandins limits the amount of healing that can take place in soft tissue? I know that it's a NSAID and that inflamation is caused by bloodflow. Bloodflow is what heals damaged tissue so would it not be counterproductive to limit that bloodflow? I am expecting a tongue lashing from an MD here somewhere so bring it on. :):)
