I started swimming in the mornings with the masters team this week, and man, am I hungry!! What does everyone eat for breakfast? I feel like I'm not eating as well as I did before I started swimming in the mornings, and I don't really know what I should be eating. I'm hungry all the time. I used to have Special K for breakfast, but it doesn't last at all after swimming. Any suggestions?

PEANUT BUTTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! I swear by it. If I swim in the morning, I have one piece of toast with PB. Afterward I have oatmeal. If I swim at noon or later in the day I still have a piece of bread with PB. I've tried other things - yogurt, power gel, etc. and they just don't work. I once bonked half way through a workout because I had a power gel and not the typical PB sandwich.
I also graze through the day; I have to eat every two hours anyway.:p
