Breakfast?

I started swimming in the mornings with the masters team this week, and man, am I hungry!! What does everyone eat for breakfast? I feel like I'm not eating as well as I did before I started swimming in the mornings, and I don't really know what I should be eating. I'm hungry all the time. I used to have Special K for breakfast, but it doesn't last at all after swimming. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Mmmmmm....oatmeal. The difference in me is, I'm a culinary student, so when I have class at 6:30 in the morning (every morning except weekends), I eat during kitchens, around 8:45 am every day. I eat oatmeal around 5, a little of whatever we make in kitchens at 8:30-ish(seriously, prime rib and potatoes last week for a day), then I eat lunch with friends around 1, again before practice at 5, and usually again when I get home at 8. I've found, especially with swimming, it's good to eat every few hours or so, granola bars, fruit, things like that, otherwise you get really hungry and eat a lot all at once. I for one, don't mind eating constantly. And you're right, special K just doesn't do a thing for swimming appetites.
