I was checking this item out at swimoutlet.com. Looks like the 'headset' clips under ones' goggle band and it somehow transmits music through the bones in your face and you can hear it. I guess that answered my question about being able to wear my earplug...(I just need one in my left ear)...
Has anyone tried this thing out? I'd love to have music while I'm swimming, other than the music that plays in my head when I get in my pace.
I'd love to hear about your experience with it.

Here is a discussion from a few days ago, if you scroll down through it someone actually posted a review on the MP3 player you're refering to. I just bought the iRiver one, and after being out of the pool for a few days because of the flu, I'll probably (finally!) get to test it out today.
