It is nearing the time for our team to begin planning their annual meet. I'm looking for ideas about how to attract teams from other LMSC's, how to keep costs down, how to get goodie bag items and any other ideas. What do some of you do to make your meets more attractive?
Our team's meet (this month by the way) has a 3-person fun relay where unattached swimmers and swimmers from different clubs can form a relay & enter. We give theme prizes for the winners of that relay. We also give out souvenirs for new swimmers. Both prizes & souvenirs are "themed" to our meet; we can get very inexpensive items from Oriental Trading, www.orientaltrading.com.
