It is nearing the time for our team to begin planning their annual meet. I'm looking for ideas about how to attract teams from other LMSC's, how to keep costs down, how to get goodie bag items and any other ideas. What do some of you do to make your meets more attractive?

Goodie bag items: small bottles of powerade, powerbars or powergel, bananas, granola bars.
The first 50 swimmers to sign up get a free t-shirt or some kind of item.
To save $, have your uss team kids do timing and easy duties... parents also... sort of a fund raiser for the uss team as well as helping with the meet.
just some thoughts that popped up into my head... hope they were some help.
