I was thinking about the "pet peeves" thread. Seems that we should have a thread that is the opposite. Things we love about swimming. (Or is there one already that I missed?)

That reminds of on of my very favorite things to do. I love when you are in your backstroke streamline and you're gliding along a few inches under the surface and it looks like your looking up through glass. I love that!!

That is really cool. I tell people I love to swim because it is never what you expect. The experieince is so different between the participant and the spectator or person watching you swim. Swimming demostrates that what is real is truly the individuals perseption.
