I thought it might be fun to start a thread where we could share what was on our wish lists for Christmas, and then casually guide our families to the thread...to our posts...and mention "OOh! That would really be nice to have!" You know...drop a few subtle hints. It might be fun to know what everybody is pining for too. Me, I would love to have a FSII. I can't swim that fast, but it would still be fun to have a suit like that. Hope to hear from you! and Merry (early) Christmas!! ~Kyra

I don't think you'll have to worry about that unless the Steelers pull off a BoSox worthy performance :P (Not that I care much, I think Football is a wussy sport myself.)

"more time to swim" - ditto for me. Also more time for family and friends. undisturbed sleep - maybe Santa could take the insomnia bug back to the pole with him a clean house, clear of clutter

I don't actually follow football, because I don't have the patience for a sport that stops every 20 seconds. But, 11-1 is all I have to say.

Another thing I want for Christmas - the Pirates to have success that even comes close to approaching what the Steelers do. I probably have a better chance of growing webbed feet and hands to become a better swimmer. I think your right!

I would like a pile of fluffy towels for Christmas!
  • Given the time of year, I thought this thread could be re-started. ;) I'll take a BMW convertible with manual transmission so I don't have to drive the Durango with three kids all the time. Muppet says a hot car would suit my mid life stature. I'll also take a new Fastskin II bodysuit since my daughter wants to steal mine. I'll take a 28.0 in the 50 fly sometime in 2007 so that I can actually claim a legitimate "breakthrough" on that "major breakthrough" thread. Ha! I'll take healthy shoulders, no shin splints and maybe some breaststroke fins or a monofin. Never tried those. But fins are the one and only swimming aid that I like. And I'd also like Pirates of the Caribbean, Dead Man's Chest on DVD.

I'd like a "micacle pill" to take about 40 lbs and 6-7 inches off my waist. Not gonna happen :( Continue to pick up speed in the water ... I'd take anything that would let me go fast enough so I can enter a meet and not embarass myself too much!! Oh, and a Ferrari F430 Spider or an Aston Martin DB9 Volante to go to and from the pool!! Happy Holidays all!! Ken
  • no shin splints. Don't run on paved surfaces. If possible, run on grass. For me....Getting my eyes fixed so I no longer need glasses or contacts.
