I thought it might be fun to start a thread where we could share what was on our wish lists for Christmas, and then casually guide our families to the thread...to our posts...and mention "OOh! That would really be nice to have!" You know...drop a few subtle hints. It might be fun to know what everybody is pining for too. Me, I would love to have a FSII. I can't swim that fast, but it would still be fun to have a suit like that. Hope to hear from you! and Merry (early) Christmas!!

Well to begin with, the generous gift giver will have to talk Speedo into manufacturing their new Speedlite goggle with a prescription lense. After 3 years of using View goggles I just can't see (pun intended) swimming without corrective lenses.
I actually put an advertisement for these goggles in front of my daughters face. So there is no mistake about which goggle I want, here is a link:

Ain't they the sexiest thing you've ever seen? LOL, you know you are a swimmer when you think a goggle is sexy.

Every year since I grduated form college, I asked for a pair of fins, pull buoys, and paddles. I got them last year. Now i'm asking for a sail boat. I figure ijn a few years, maybe, some one might come through.
Also, I would like to have some one give a large donatin to the Knox county YmCA in Galesubrg, IL. We are doing a very large renovation & we could really use the money for the pool. Swimming isn't that big of a sport here and many peole gave money for the weight room and the basketball courts. Few for the pool.
Nothing.
This is the first time in 14 years that my wife hasn't been sick or in severe pain from her tumor and it's aftermath and those issues have been pretty well resolved. So I got what I've been asking for for a LONG time.

I would like to be able to swim my 100m freestyle under a minute in a new year.And also become comfortable swimming freestyle!These are my wishes.
P.S. Oh yeah - and go to my first meet and kick some ass and look like I have been swimming since I got out of my mamma's womb.
A new T.V. Ours is on the brink. We can only see 3/4 of the screen. It will be hard to watch the Steelers win the Super Bowl if ours isn't working.
