...a large group of (large) people file into the YMCA pool area on a Sunday afternoon and fill the bleachers, not to watch me finish my set, but to conduct a baptism.
They stayed away from the lap swimmers.

You know your swimming in the South when....
The pool water becomes so saturated with snuff that it turns a dingy yellow.
