This is something I posted before.I lokked at the way I do the flutter kick when swimming free and I am pretty confused.I am not even sure if that variation is done by anybody.I breath on the right side, so maybe that is the problem of the following: when I am on my left side taking a breath with my right hand above the water I do a regular flutter kick, but when my left hand is above the water(I am looking down under water), I tend to do a cross-over kick. i.e. my right foot smacks onto my left one.I that any normal?I saw some swimmers in the Olympics do a cross-over kick, but it would be symmetrical with both sides, not like me - totally weird...I tried swimming with a normal flutter kick for both sides and I do not swim efficiently at all (a lot slower) , I even sink a little, which I do not do when swimming in my "weird way".I was thinking, maybe that is the result of insufficient body roll or something, although I do not think so.Any ideas?
Thanks.
