Well a friend of mine mentioned this site and so far I read some pretty interesting threads.
I'm trying to figure out where can I go to get some coaching?
I recently started picking up swimming again and haven't had any formal coaching...just from what I seen at the local pool.
My goal is to to get proficient in all the strokes and do IMs. I just want to learn the proper techiques for the various strokes and the correct/efficient turning methods.
I would prefer to find a place that's close by the Anaheim, Orange County area. Since I work full time my schedule can be tough, the times I can workout varies on
-weekdays after 7PM is fine
-exception is on Fridays since I get every other Friday off.
-Friday's that I'm off and weekends after 10AM *I need sleep to recovery from the work week* ;)
Can someone break it down for me what I should do next...I can't make heads or tails which association am I suppose to join (USMS,SPMA,LMSC,etc)
Recommendations are also welcomed. :D

Hi Oci, Hi Manticora :)
We have 7:15 PM workout M-Fri!
This Sunday 1-3 PM we have a freestyle clinic, both of you guys could stop by, do the clinic, check out the pool.
We offer couple free trial workouts.
Our team offers 24 workouts a week, morning, late morning, noonish and later afternoons and weekends.
more at:

and we have the best nicest coach!
(well, okay, I'm little bit biased there... but he DID get the SPMA coach of the year this year!)
