I'm hoping to swim in the Anchor bay meet on 10-30-04, so that intrested me to look a past results.
So here is my question. In the 25-29 age group I noticed not many swimmers, will I be swimming in the pool all alone if nobody else enters a particular event within my age group? Or are all the competitiors grouped by time seeds and gender? In other words, are the events groups by gender and time seeds. or gender and age groups? Sorry so wordy.
Usually the entry form will tell you how seeding works. Most meets seed by time/sex and place by age group. Many meets also seed by time only and heats are mixed sex, especially in the long distance events.
The Michigan Masters meets are seeded by time so you will not be swimming alone. The only time this happens is the 200 Fly because somtimes you can be the only one.
