Newbie here again with a dumb question.Swim suits... do they actually help shave down your time?Would there be a substantial difference in time between swimming with and without one.It gets confusing when you watch the pros - some wear them, some do not ... so if they are so effective, wouldn't everyone wear them?:confused:

I seem to be a funny state of mind tonight.
Most people like to be COVERED while swimming. From the way your post appears (to me)--your question is swimming naked vs wearing a suit.
Are you talking (for males) wearing trunks vs a closer fitting suit? For females--are you talking a "fashion" suit vs a closer fitting suit with adequate straps to stay up on your body?
