Does anyone know if there will TV coverage from Indy this weekend? It will be awfully hard to choose between my Dawgs vs TN or the Longhorns vs Sooners and swimming. Or maybe there will be something on the net from Indy I can pick up. That would be the best... I could watch all three at the same time!

I'm at the Worlds and it's a great event to watch. Crowds have passed the organizers goal of selling 56k tickets over the course of the meet and there's lots of media coverage. Overall, Indy did a great job organizing. The ASCA (American Swimming Coaches Association) annual world clinic was organized to coincide with the meet so I'm here with hundreds of coaches which makes it all even more fun.
This is the first time I've really paid attention to a 25 meter competition. I have a question for you about the records. I understand the SC (short course) records pertains to SCM competitions. The world records they quote, are those just for 25 SCM meets or are they based upon the length (i.e., the 50 meter free record is a record whether it's done in a 25 meter or 50 meter pool)?????
If you haven't heard, this will be Jenny Thompson's last competition. See this article: www.msnbc.msn.com/.../ about her moving on and returning to medical school. It was awesome seeing Thompson swim fast last night. She's one person that has done great things for our sport.
