Hi all,
I'm a new member here and in need of some help. I have just recently formed a club team at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. I have almost 150 people interested and things are looking good. One of the main things we have not figured out was competition. Everyone is a former competitive swimmer and we want to have meets. We are going to become affiliated with Masters and go to meets in the area. However, we also want to swim in dual meets against other college clubs similar to ours. Does anyone know of any? Is there a governing body for college swimming (non-NCAA)? Does anyone have any clues on where I can find out more info? Thank you very much for your help!

Sounds like a good problem to have - I wish we had 150 swimmers with competitive backgrounds looking for opportunities to compete !
USMS is divided Zones made up of LMSCs (local masters swim committees). Boston is in the New England LMSC. They would be your best source of information. Each LMSC has a discussion thread page, and some have websites (New England does, and you can link from USMS site under Swimming Links, LMSC).
