Do any of you swimmers use a recovery drink after a workout? Endurox R4 is one that was recommended. Does anyone use this one? Are they really beneficial? :) Any feedback is appreciated.

That's ironic, because for the three years that I've been working out I would always drink a protein shake after I worked out, but just recently I started drinking the shake (Protein Powder mixed w/ skim milk) BEFORE I work out and I find that my workouts are much more effective and I can work out harder. My muscles don't seem to tire as quickly. That just points to what I've kinda figured out over the last year or so, there are so many nutrition/workout programs these days, that they definitely are not cookie cutter. You just need to find one that works for you and stick to it.
