I got a new swimcap and almost eveyr time, they're too long heightwise and make me look like a conehead. The only thing I could think of to remedy this would be to fold up the ends a little over the top but wouldnt' that be counterproductive to what the cap was designed to do? Or is that any difference? Also, do you wear your goggle straps in or out of the cap?

There seemed to be about a 50-50 split between swimmers in the olympics who wore the goggles over the cap as opposed to under.
I wear a cap, and I put the goggles over the cap.
FYI, my personal reason for wearing a cap is that I dont feel the water running through my hair (I have a buzz haircut) and also that it pins my ears back, and I just like that "feel" better.
