Why does it seem that all freestyle swimmers breath to the right? I breath to the left but...yeah..

I had to actually think about when I breathe. I realized that I breathe to both sides, sometimes 4 strokes, sometimes 3, sometimes 2.... I guess I take a breath when I need one. I do find that I go faster when I breathe every two strokes - to my right. My "chocolate" side is left arm out, right arm up.
When I don't get enough oxygen, my arms feel dead and lifeless and weight 3/4 ton each.
