Greetings,
I am pleased to announce that the USA Swimming web site now has a section for Masters/Fitness swimmers. Contents will be updated once or twice a month, and will include personality features, sample workouts, stroke tips, nutrition, and general information for Masters and fitness swimmers.
This month, Masters swimmer Nadine Day is prominently featured -- and today she made the home page! Many thanks to USA Swimming for promoting Masters swimming.

Greetings,
I am pleased to announce that the USA Swimming web site has once again featured Masters swimming on its home page.
In addition to the monthly personality features and nutrition tips, we have now added a monthly stroke tip, and "My Favorite Set."
This month, Colorado Masters swimmer Cindy Hawkinson is prominently featured in the personality spotlight, and USMS webmaster Jim Matysek of Niagara Masters is featured in "My Favorite Set". In addition, we are featuring an essential backstroke drill tip, and a delicious recipe for shrimp salad rolls with peanut dipping sauce.
Many thanks to USA Swimming for continuing to promote Masters swimming.
Check it out at: http://www.usaswimming.org (follow the link on the home page)
Enjoy!

Funny you mentioned it, yesterday I too discovered a nice article about masters swimming on their website:
Titled: Is There Swimming Life after School?

This is a great article. I find myself getting back into it after a 16 year hiatus. I was definately burnout after 16 years of competitive swimming. But now I know why I did it for so long... I have a hard time running. Thanks for posting the article Conniekat8. Very enlightening.
Hi all,
Looks like they changed the home page again today, so here's how to get to the Masters / Fitness section:
1) go to: http://www.usaswimming.org
2) click on the "Swimmers" tab at the upper left
3) click on the "Masters / Fitness" link on the left-hand navigation column
That will bring you to the section for Masters and fitness swimmers.
The other article mentioned by Connie is on the "Interesting Stuff" page of the "Swimmers" section (link is a few below "Masters/Fitness").
Enjoy!
