We are redoing the backyard. The design plans have a 16' by 75' pool drawn in (imagine how that happened!!) At the end farthest away from the house is planned a edgeless end. It gives the appearance of no visible wall and might help reduce waves with the spill over. Any suggestions or advice on building this thing with training in mind? I plan to put lane lines at each side and one down the middle making 2 lanes. Minimum depth 3.5 feet and max depth 5-6 feet.
This thing will not have a gutter system and I would like to minimize waves. Would like to be able to handle 4-6 swimmers without surfing.
Any thoughts or people I should contact. I have time to make changes.
PS. The designer worked hard to make this piece of " art " work in the backyard and it is though the design committee (my wife). Might be able to make it 17' wide for more elbow room.

I pulled the link up and the article. Plan to contact the folks in California and others to make sure the pumps could handle a work out. Thanks very much.
