I received this through the Colonies Zone grapevine and would like to share this. Thanks to the Metropolitan (NY) LMSC for sharing. USA Olympic Team Trials for Swimming will be broadcast on the NBC network on the following dates/times (Eastern time - check local listings): Friday, July 9: live broadcast from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 11: live broadcast from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. Sunday, July 18: taped highlights from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. For many of us, it will be better than Monday Night Football. :D

This one will probably be a two man race between Peirsol and Phelps, though. Lenny is entered, but he has said that he's only swimming the 100. Who knows, maybe he'll swim prelims and see if he feels he has a shot. I mostly concentrated on races where there were several swimmers with a shot of making the team. I think Michael and Phelps will duke it out for first, with the next group two seconds behind them.
