I love the pool in Austin as well.
In high school, I swam in the last Texas High School State Championship in Gregory Gym - not fast, almost got my name on the record board (presumably forever...) since the next year we swam one of the first meats at the swim center.
Wow. Never had I felt so small, or swimming such a spectacle, as an early competitor in that facility.
I'd also vote for the rec center at the University of Maryland, nice big fast pool with lots of daylight and Phelps records on the wall.
