basically I had complained to the people running the pool, and they said that it was because the water temperature was getting warmer outside. I accepted this answer for 8 weeks, and then one day I just snapped...the water was so hot that I had to cut my workout short--really short. So, I sent in an email from the health club's web site, expecting no response, but thinking it would be a start. I have been a member for almost two years, and lately something horrible has happened. For the last 8 weeks the lap pool has been considerably hot, and has caused my swimming workouts to suffer tremendously. The reason why I joined the health club, and convinced two of my friends to join is for the purpose of lap swimming. However, with this hot water I find that I am unable to do it and have had to cut my workouts short several times. Frankly this situation is getting tiresom, and many swimmers are complaining amongst each other more and more about the hot water in the lap pool. So, I'm wondering if you plan to keep the water this hot, or if you have a rememdy in sight. Thanks, JoAnne This worked and they emailed me back to my surprise...they lowered the temperature. IF they weren't going to do it I was going to go somewhere else. I think the fact that it wasn't just me who was upset really sealed it.
