It is with great sadness that I must pass along the devastating news that Alan Liu, coach of the Mountain View Masters in California, was struck and killed by a drunk driver while cycling in Napa last weekend. He was 31.
Alan's cycling companion and girlfriend, 26 year old MVM Masters member Jill Mason, is in critical condition at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Alan was an outstanding individual and excellent coach who touched many lives. The MVM (www.mvm.org) website has more information.
