A question for all those crazy swimmers out there. I received stitches in my right index finger and was wondering how soon i could return to the water after the stitches come out. What is the shortest time that anyone has hit the water after stitches? Is it possible to go swimming with them in? maybe just wrap them up real good? Thanks for the input!
I recently got a gash on my head that required a few stiches. I was allowed to kick with a board but told by my doc not to get my stiches wet ---which made shampooing a challenge!
I don't see how you can keep your finger out of the water tho; better take up jogging for a while.
