Last weekend saw me enter my first comp' as a Master Swimmer as am now 25. Trouble is I feel so old now...:( Is it down hill from now? Can I expect to get any faster?
Atleast there was one good thing that came out of it - there was no one else in my age group so I get gold for everything!

Hey UK Swimmer....wow, your still very young my friend...MANY US Masters Swimmers in their 40's and above have actually swam times faster then when they were in high school...
Heck, when I was in HS I got down around the magic :50 second mark in the 100 yd free....and as a 47 year old Masters Swimmer
(I am 54 now) I swam a :54.4 100 free and I am not a sprinter....
My point is this....go for it my friend and you're going to find that the sky is the limit as to the times you can swim....
