Who's going to nationals?

It used to be the only Masters meet I swam in when my children were young. It was my first Master's meet also!:D I didn't swim in it in 2001 because I was recovering from shoulder surgery. Are you from the Atlanta area?

Swmr4life, I lived in Duluth for about 13 years before moving to Warner Robins (near Terry on this thread) after college and then to Oregon in 2001. My parents and sister still live in Atlanta. When I started USMS swimming, I lived 2 hours from Dynamo but joined that team to be part of my Dad and sister. Both Dad and Jenn swim with Dynamo. My Dad is taking a year or 2 off from competition for shoulder surgery but still swims at the pool there. I was lucky to swim St. Patty's Day in Atlanta and LC Nationals in Federal Way in 2001. Who do you swim for? I hope I can make it to Savannah and not only swim but see some old team mates and my family. I think we should all have name tags with our screen names on them. Wouldn't that be a trip?!

Wish I could go to nationals, but don't have the $$$ :( Why do house renovations/repairs gotta cost so much?

I will tell her that you said hello! I don't usually workout with her! She swims with the age group kids! I coach a group at the same time, not that I could keep up with them anyway!:D

Maybe an informal 'forum regulars' social is in order??? Or better yet, maybe we can all make sure we go to the official social event? Ya know... do the right thing and support the organization that made this forum and getting to know each other possible... (I already have my tix for the indy social)

I am sorry I did not meet you at Dynamo. Hope to meet you in Savannah. Sandy . from Perry will also be at Nationals! We hope to be on the +200 or even +240 relays! Great when you can add ages! I rode my bike on SAt. so I was in no shape to race on Sunday. Sandy and I are going to Dixie Zones in Nashville these weekend...hope they have a fast pool...I need all the help I can get!:)

You were at St. Pat's??!!! I wish I could have met you. I had a great meet!. I was very nervous the first day because I had not swam a short course meet since Phoenix! I also had to be out of the water for almost 2 weeks a month before St. Pat's. I did 2 Masters PRs and was right on my best in my other events! I was pleasantly surprised! I was plagued with shoulder problems last year. I've been relatively healthy this year...knock on wood!...so I hope I can improve more at Indianapolis! I'll definitely see you in Savannah!!!:D

Beth, you talking about Short Course, if so, don't know if I'll make those. Long Course in Augusta I am going to try and be there. Had fun at the St Patty's Day Meet. Times were off a little, been adding more to my workouts to get in shape! I know....excuses excuses!!!
