Should be a good race tonight!

I was just looking at the prelim results for the Western Sectional meet going on in Federal Way, WA. It looks like we should see a good race tonight in the women's 100 meter ***. Here are the top two seeds from this morning: 1 QUANN, MEGAN 20 TITANS-PN 1:09.57 2 BEARD, AMANDA 22 FORD AQUATICS-AZ 1:10.32 Here's a link to the results: www.swimvast.org/.../index.htm Check back later tonight to see who wins! My prediction is Megan Quann wins, but not by much. She's better in the 100 and Beard is better in the 200.

"Back to 1:05" would be pretty great for Megan; her AR is 1:07:05. Alas, she scratched again tonight, so it was Amanda in 1st with a 1:08.65 - not bad since she's no doubt in heavy training. Dennis Baker, more of a 200 swimmner, could "only" manage 15th in the 100 with a 58.6. He's an inspiration to all of us in Oregon.
