What is the fastest age for a swimmer(mine seems to be faster as i get older and yes i swam as a youngster...now im 37..)?

I'm trying, really really hard, but i just can't visualize anything graceful, or even gentlemanly about Ion.
I bet he beats old ladies to the spot in a supermarket line too.
