What is the fastest age for a swimmer(mine seems to be faster as i get older and yes i swam as a youngster...now im 37..)?

being in the bottom 10% in the 40 to 44 age group at the USMS Nationals qualifies as "near the top" in all USMS, the ones who go and the ones who don't go to the Nationals:
all USMS.
