What is the fastest age for a swimmer(mine seems to be faster as i get older and yes i swam as a youngster...now im 37..)?

My goal is to prove everyone wrong who told me I couldn't get to the weight I wanted by swimming. (Target is 155 - 160.) Then, I can do this - :p !
