What is the fastest age for a swimmer(mine seems to be faster as i get older and yes i swam as a youngster...now im 37..)?

I agree for men under 45.
In the higher age groups, the times -with a few extraordinary exceptions- are slow.
In men 40 to 44 I already know who is who.
