What is the fastest age for a swimmer(mine seems to be faster as i get older and yes i swam as a youngster...now im 37..)?

Dorothy, I'll have to challenge you on that last place finish...I think I'll have it sewn up...at least on the ***....and I can't fly worth a hoot!!

I, too, am a late bloomer (first started at 43), and got a year of training under my belt with my daughter's age group team coach. Since then, have been self-coached, and don't put in nearly the kind of yardage you folks talk of.
Still, I am going to nationals under the 3 event w/o NQT's option. It's not too far for me to drive, and I don't get many opportunities to compete. Expect to see some awesome swimming, and pick up a tip or ten. Will be interesting to search out some of the posters here and watch them swim.
I am looking forward to proudly "getting on the blocks and doing the good and bad" or however Ion put it. And I may never break the 29, but I enjoy what I CAN do!!
