What is the fastest age for a swimmer(mine seems to be faster as i get older and yes i swam as a youngster...now im 37..)?

Some hero you mentioned was an age-group swimmer not a late bloomer like you and me (which is in a different ballpark), has more time for swimming and traveling to meets than I do because of not being employed full-time, trains in US Swimming -not USMS- and trains less than me.
In contrast, I am professionally employed in a field where they bring me in because there are no qualified U.S. people to do the work.
It is a competitive and full-time consuming professional field, allowing me -only after business hours- to train and race in San Diego and to travel to race at the Nationals.
