Hey- whattya mean you're leaving? you can't do that! I enjoyed your posts and judging by the amount of replies you got, others did too.
We've been inundated with a lot of negative emails in this place the last month so, (esp. with all of the those -ion- bashing, ego-driven posts that were pretty pathetic in the end....)- this forum used to be cool.... What's happening????

Y'all, I've been trying to set up a yahoogroups where Master swimmers can go for 'social chat' and fun discussions, but I don't seem to be able to get it to work and I don't know why. See if you can get to it.
go to yahoogroups.com (be sure to type that correctly because if you leave out the u you go to a uh very 'interesting' site as you might imagine0
then in the box that says join a group type in:
swimatyourownrisk_nolifeguardonduty
and see if it will find the group for you.

I don't always read every post that comes in my email, so after I wrote the last one, I felt kinda bad, because I was maybe a bit harsh (so, sorry guys- kinda :) ), and felt that maybe I'd missed something- I had to voice my opinion, though.
I love this place- it's pretty good compared to some others out there and I feel that the posters are honest and real. However, I also have to remind myself that there's bound to be personality clashes also. and I should be more patient...
(oops gotta go- my husband's making home-made chips and I have to open the windows to let the smoke out ;))

When I go to yahoogroups.com, it shows up on my yahoogroups list and I can click on it and it takes me to the group homepage, but I can't find when I search for it, nor can I send messages to the message board. Anyone else know how to get a yahoogroups.com group going?
hmmm.... try posting the link to the group's homepage and maybe we can access it that way... What category is it under? What were the keywords? That may help us find it...
I've had a few groups: sign in, click on the link on the left, and that's where you access the moderator's functions- add/delete members, post messages, etc. You change the main page and listings/keywords under group settings via the management link...
(please forgive me if you know this already).
In the meantime, I'll keep looking.
