height/weight ratio?

If these trends continue, I should become a perfect sphere sometime in the year 2287. I have a friend, great great guy, who is literally as big around as he is tall. Several weeks ago, he had a pain in his right side, ignored it for a couple of days (how he did that I don't know), finally went to the Dr.--ruptured appendix--sepsis--has been in ICU for over 3 wks now! (sedated/ventalated most of the time). Its not just the heart that extra weight reeks havoc with, when something serious comes along, you are in deep trouble.
