I swam my first 500 in a meet tonight :D I swam a 7.50 ( I know not very good but I beat my best time by 10 seconds) I came in second to a girl on my team who swims like a 5.50 ( She is very good) I am very proud of myself and jsut thought I would toot my own horn a little bit:p

I'm in a similar range as you, have a ways to go, but I can appreciate the excitrement of doing it the first time, and then ... shaviong off some time the next etc...
