Yesterday being New Year's Day I was able to make and eat my favorites - collards (for money), black eyed peas (for luck) and tons of cornbread. I've been doing this so long I fear what would happen if I missed it on New Year's Day.
Lest The Bug think I'm a poseur, I did actually chop the greens myself and cook them in hocks.
