Actually, anchovies are much better on italian bread with some butter and capers and a tomato salad and olive oil than on Pizza.
Hey, what can I say, I grew up on mediterranean, I used to catch and prepare my own fish. That was the purpose for swimming and diving (snorkeling), to catch dinner.
Then as the sun goes down, you round up some lime rock and some dried twigs and make a BBQ. I liked the fact that so much of the coast 'back home' has not been commercialized. You could just wander off, and be with nature.
For you that can'trelate, hawaii reminds me a little bit of where I grew up, just not as tropical. Less sand more lime-rock. Summers get just as hot, but not rainy.
oh, here, I found some pics of where I learned to swim :)
www.sanko.hr/holiday.htmlhttp://www.sanko.hr/zv08.jpghttp://www.sanko.hr/zv04.jpg in this picture, about the middle, thereis a little reef/island maybe 1/4 mile across, and about 2-3 miles out from the shore. As I kid, I was always wanting to swim out to it. I might do it yet when I go there for a visit.
uh, oh, I digressed... I hope you guys don't mind too much.
