A friend of mine has a son (age 11) who has been doing some great times in the 50yd. free that have been under 22 seconds. It's been a while for me and I don't know what kids are doing today but this seems pretty impressive. I'm telling him he has a star on his hands. What kind of times are kids doing today?

And click on U.S. records. According to the current time standards, any time under 22 would rank your friend's son at number 1. Pretty incredible for an eleven year old. (And I bet this kid is around six feet tall.) He'll probably join the ranks of the few in the 19+ zone at this rate.
