best deals on body suits?

I've been searching the internet to find the best deal I can for Fastskin suits. They aren't the easiest things to track down, and most of the time, there's not much if any discount offered. The kind I've had the best luck with personally is the kneeskin body suit (up to the neck and down to the knees, with the arms and lower legs uncovered.) Most places seem to sell these for $180 or more, which seems exorbitant. The best deal I've found so far is $160 at a discounter in Ohio-- www.competitionswimming.com/ Has anyone else out there found a good place to get these suits? Maybe we masters could start a price war!

  • No--I don't think the body suit is going to help you much here. For warmth, you really need something like neoprene. You might look into a thin neoprene "wetsuit" style shortie--I know one of the swimming coaches locally wears one of these while giving lessons to the littler kids (who probably need the neoprene more than the coach does, seeing as he has considerable insulation of the natural variety.)
