Pounds keep coming off

Well, I have not gone swimming for about two months. Last time I went I did 1-mile at Queensboro Community College. Instead, I've been doing a weight/cardio routine. Sometimes, I hit bodyweight exercises too. You know. Pushups, chinups, bodyweight squats. For cardio, I've been running or doing stationary bike. I do cardio twice a week. I've already lost 8 pounds, and I'm down a waist size. It just goes to show you, that you have to change your workouts sometimes. Now, when I get back to the pool more often, I'll still lose weight, because it'll all be new to me again. It's so true when they say you have to change your workouts to lose weight.

My goal is to pick up lots of women at the beach next summer. Honestly, I don't really measure success in terms of an exact weight. I was 5'11 and 215 with a broad back and shoulders from swimming and weights. I'm down to 204. I guess if I can get down to 195, that would be great. Any more weight loss would mean I'm losing muscle mass too. My goal is to lose fat only.
