I just wanted to wish all of my friends on this forum, near and far, a Happy Thanksgiving. For some, the holiday is difficult time; for others, it is a time of happiness. No matter what, there is something for what we can be all thankful. We are all fortunate to have the friends we electronically find here. Maybe a little crazy at times ... but likeable in many ways!
Regards,
Mark

This past year was a very, very tough and sad year in my life. I give thanks for the outpouring of kindness, Prayers and encouragement that have been extended to me on this forum over the past year. I give humble thanks for friendships I gained on this forum. It meant more to me then I can possible convey in writing; so I will simply say, thank you!
Happy Thanksgiving to all….
Kindest regards,
Tom
I wanted to reply with the warmest of Thanksgiving wishes for everyone on this forum. This holiday is my favorire because there are no expectations, and I most value the sharing of food and quality time with those we love. I wish each of you a safe, peaceful and happy Thanksgiving. And ---- thank you all for being here!

to complete the midwest triangle, Happy Thanksgiving to all from Bloomington Indiana. Expecting to see the Cincinnati and Louisville guys at the New Albany meet next week.
I'm thankful for being a part of this group. Each one of you has inspired me and added something to my life. You helped me start swimming again, which was something I wanted to do for over a decade. You've answered my questions, helped me through frustrations, given me cheers, and have been a delight in my days when we chat.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Typically this is a very sad day for me--but I'm off to swim, and am sure to start the day off right!

I too am thankful to all my efriends, from whom I've learned so much. I originally joined this forum to learn about Masters clubs because I wanted to start one in the town where I live. I quickly found acceptance and a willingness to share knowledge and experience without an expectation of anything in return. That is a measure of true friendship. Masters swimmers are a unique bunch of folks (lol is it a permanent endorphine high that makes us so amenable?) Like all friends, we have, at times, differed in opinions. The differences though has made us more aware of the depth of commitment the other feels. Understanding and acceptance is also a measure of true friendship. I hope all here have a great (and wet, if the pool is open) Thanksgiving. Now get out there and swim off all those extra calories.

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! Man...I tried to swim today and felt soooo tired! Anyone else have this problem? Is it too much turkey and tryptophan?
:D
Happy Thanksgiving from Southern California!
(I made this post yesterday, but for some reason it didn't come through. Me sorry)
I'm thankful hat I started swimming this year. It would be one very long post if I tried to tell you in how many ways it has made a difference for me.
Let's just say that for a change, after a long time, I feel on top of the world!
