I pay 2.40 english pounds per swim(about 4$)plus petrol to get there(2.5 english miles)all this adds up to about 10 pounds....about $15 per week..not too much but all adds up over the years

ummm... let's see... it's $45.00/mo. masters team fee plus a one off team fee which was like 20.00 or so, plus yearly masters fee...
I'm fortunate that there's three or four teams around, so I could comparison shop...
(just for curiosity's sake, in London, I was paying 30 quid a month for a council-run membership, which included unlimited swims and gym before I moved here- I didn't belong to a team then, though...)
