I pay 2.40 english pounds per swim(about 4$)plus petrol to get there(2.5 english miles)all this adds up to about 10 pounds....about $15 per week..not too much but all adds up over the years
Divided by a weekly fee, just the coaching is $54.50 a week. This gets me in to the pool before it opens to the public and an hour and 20 min practice on weekdays and 2 hours on Sat. We take a 6 week break during the summer and do about 90 min of dryland instead.
If I want to swim on my own, it's $8 per entrance.
OMGoodness - what part of the country do you live in? We don't have a masters team per se in Tallahassee, so to train with an actual team, we (I) are forced to swim with the USAS team - and that is $65/mo for up to 11 practices a week if I am so inclined. Entry to our pools is $3.50 a shot, unless you get an "annual pass" and then it averages out to $22/mo and entrance is unlimited, and includes all city pools.
