I pay 2.40 english pounds per swim(about 4$)plus petrol to get there(2.5 english miles)all this adds up to about 10 pounds....about $15 per week..not too much but all adds up over the years

Work lunch-time swimming:
$36/month at the YMCA in Lancaster, PA along with a 1 time $80 fee. No cost for the masters swim group - we are self-coached, which can certainly be interesting, but chaotic.
Closer to home swimming:
I also swim at Elizabethtown College for $40/semester and at an outdoor pool in E-town for $115 for the summer.
