I pay 2.40 english pounds per swim(about 4$)plus petrol to get there(2.5 english miles)all this adds up to about 10 pounds....about $15 per week..not too much but all adds up over the years

I swim at a Y and pay $485 for a membership that covers both my husband and me. I also pay an additional $10 a month for coached masters swim which meets three mornings a week at 6 AM.
This Y has a 50 meter pool, which is almost always too warm. It also has a very nice fitness center with Nautilus stuff, weights, treadmills, and that sort of thing.
There are also spin classes, aerobics (both water and land), yoga, and tai chi. The yoga and spin classes have an additional charge.
