I am constantly surprised that when I do my training sessions at my local pool, there are very few other people apart from myself ,that drink water while they are training.I drink about 1 litre for a 1 1/2 hour session.Do others take in liquids while training or am I an exception??

Exrunner may or may not be kidding, but I recently read an article written toward distance/open water/triathlete swimmers that actually suggested sipping pool water while they swim, since they may not want to stop during a long set. My first thought was "Gross!" (especially since the water in my pool smells like fried chicken).
But the point is that there are at least some people out there who think pool water is fit for human consumption.
