sometimes i go to the pool full of grief from the days toils,however after a good swim i forget all of this and feel invigorated,this happens every time.If i go to the pool and have had a good day at work then i feel even better after the workout.Perhaps if some of the world leaders swam more often there would be less conflict...

A week or so ago, I was lucky enough to have the pool all to myself (except for the guard). There was a georgeous orange/gold/pink fading to periwinkle sunset at the west end of the pool. There was a slight breeze which put a small chop on the surface of the water. I swam my workout in virtual solitude... going first into the shimmering reflection of sunset and then swimming out of it. It was one of the best swims I have ever experienced in my life. I hope everyone has the chance to swim the sunset, alone, at least once.
